Many of us like to take a window seat and watch the world go by while we linger over a cappuccino at the local bar. But imagine for a moment, being able to watch the whole city go by. Monuments, towers and sculpted vistas would appear in front of your eyes, without you ever having to move from your seat. One such experience can be had right here in Milan in the ATM's moving restaurant which is set in some of the city's finest historic tram cars. Wrapped in class, sophistication and elegance you'll enjoy an exclusive three-course dinner whilst weaving in and out of the shadows of the enchanting city by night.

An ambiance not too dissimilar from that of the Orient Express provides a mysterious vintage background for this unusual dining experience. You can taste regional cuisine, which include traditional Milanese dishes prepared by internationally renowned chefs.

The menus are offered in three varieties: fish, meat and vegetarian - all at a set price of EUR65.

Both trams depart at 8.00 pm every evening from Piazza Castello and follow a circular route returning to the same place after about two and a half hours. Diners should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure.

The trams follow the same route in opposite directions, both offering a panoramic tour of Milan by night, passing Castello Sforzesco, Santa Maria delle Grazie, the Cimitero Monumentale, the Stazione Centrale, La Scala, the Duomo, and Naviglio Grande.

Reservations must be made by phoning the ATM toll-free number 800-80.81.81. Lines are open from 7.30 am to 7.30

pm every day, and you wil be required to state the number of persons you are booking for as well as the choice of menu. Bookings can be made until 7.30 p.m. on the day before the dinner, subject to availability.

Any cancellations must be communicated before 3.00 pm in advance of two days before the scheduled dinner date, by calling the ATM toll-free number 800-80.81.81

Lastly, please remember that 24-36 hours before the day you have reserved your dinner, ATM freephone will contact you to give you your BOOKING CODE, which you must quote to the staff when you are welcomed aboard.
